Moss Stitch Diamonds Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern

Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern

The angora blend yarn used in this baby blanket pattern is wonderfully soft, does not shed, and is machine washable. The stitch pattern is reversible but opposite. On the right side, the background is Rev St st and the inside of the diamonds is St st. On the wrong side, the background is St st and the inside of the diamonds is Rev St st. The edging is knit into the pattern.

Size:
28" wide x 36" long

Gauge:
18 sts=4" over Pattern Stitch

Materials:
Size 9 US (5.5 mm) 26" circular needle or longer or size needed to obtain gauge
Crystal Palace Yarns Bunny Hop
50 % micro Acrylic, 42% micro Nylon, 8% rabbit angora
50 grams/1.75 ounces - 113 yards/103 meters
6 balls 9628 Perinwinkle

Row 2: sl 1 with yarn in front, *k1, p1
Row 3: sl 1 with yarn in back, *k1, p1, end k2
Row 4: sl 1 with yarn in front, *p1, k1, end p2
Rep these 4 rows.

CO 125 sts.
Working back and forth, work Moss St 6 rows.
Beg Pattern Stitch, working first and last 7 sts in Moss St. Place marker after 1st and last 7 sts to help keep track. Rep 36 rows of Pattern Stitch 6 times.
