Free Knitting Patterns For Socks

Basic Socks
Easy pattern, good for beginners. Fits men and women. You can see a photo here.

Beginner Socks
Knit at 7 stitches to the inch, this is a basic pattern for women which can be jazzed up with colorful sock yarn.

Bird Of A Feather Socks
Knit at 8 stitches to the inch, this is a beautiful but easy slip stitch pattern.

Cat's Paw Socks
Women's socks with a dainty cat's paw stitch pattern and baby cabled ribbing. Knit at 5 stitches to the inch.

Chevron Lace Socks
The legs of these socks use a pattern stitch that almost appears to be a lacy cable pattern. Knit at 6 sts to the inch.

Clog Socks
Features an easy Fern Stitch pattern along the back of the sock and heel. Knit at 8 sts to the inch.

Easy Beginner Socks
Basic beginner no frills sock pattern knit in stockinette at 5 stitches to the inch.

Feather & Fan Socks
