Lace Circular Cloth Knitting Pattern

Lace Circular Cloth Knitting Pattern

This is a lovely cloth pattern that knits up quickly. Easy yarn over's create the lace and a short seam finishes it off. It would also make a beautiful centerpiece doily on a dresser or use it under your favorite vase.

Gauge:
18 sts=4" in St st (gauge not vital)

Materials:
Worsted weight cotton yarn
Size 7 US (4.5 mm) needles

Instructions
CO 15 sts.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: K3, yo, k11, turn - 1 st on left needle
Rows 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19: Sl 1, knit to end of row
Row 4: K3, yo, k11, turn - 2 sts on left needle
Row 6: K3, yo, k11, turn - 3 sts on left needle
Row 8: BO first 3 sts, k2, yo, k8, turn - 4 sts on left needle
Row 10: K3, yo, k8, turn - 5 sts on left needle
Row 12: K3, yo, k8, turn - 6 sts on left needle
Row 14: BO first 3 sts, k2, yo, k5, turn - 7 sts on left needle
Row 16: K3, yo, k5, turn - 8 sts on left needle
Row 18: K3, yo, k5, turn - 9 sts on left needle
Row 20: BO first 3 sts, knit to end of row.

Repeat Rows 1-20 six more times - 21 scallops. BO. Sew CO and BO edges together.
