Spiral Tube Socks For Toddlers Knitting Pattern

These tube socks are easy for beginners because there is no heel shaping or gussets.

Gauge:
7 sts=1 in St st with larger needles

Materials:
fingering weight yarn
Size 1 US (2.25 mm) double pointed needles - set of 4 Size 3 US (3.25 mm) double pointed needles - set of 4

Instructions
With smaller needles, CO 36 sts. Divide over 3 needles and join, being careful not to twists st. Work k2, p2 rib for 2".
Change to larger needles and begin spiral pattern.
Spiral Pattern:
Rnd 1: P1, *K2, P2; rep from *, ending K2, P1
Rnd 2: Rep Rnd 1
Rnd 3: *P2, K2; rep from *
Rnd 4: Rep Rnd 3
Rnd 5: K1, *P2, K2; rep from *, ending P2, K1
Rnd 6: Rep Rnd 5
Rnd 7: *K2, P2; rep from *
Rnd 8: Rep Rnd 7
Rep these 8 rnds for 6½" or desired length.
Shape Toe
Rnd 1: At beginning of each needle K1, Sl 1, K1 psso, knit to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1
Rnd 2: knit
Rep these 2 rnds until 12 sts remain. K2tog around - 6 sts.
Cut yarn and thread through rem sts. Pull to close and weave in end on WS.
