Easy Slippers For Children, Men, And Women

Knit Slippers Knitting Pattern

These slippers have easy basic shaping that fit the foot better than many basic slipper patterns.

Sizes:
Children aged about 10-13 (women, men)

Gauge:
16 sts and 20 rows=4" over pattern stitch

Materials:
Approximately 130 (140, 150) yards worsted weight yarn
Size 10 US (6 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge

Instructions:

CO 52 (56, 60) sts. Work in pattern stitch 4 (4.5, 5)" as follows:
Row 1 (RS): K
Row 2: *k2, p2; rep from * across

BO 4 sts beg next 6 rows.
Keeping to pattern, work 4 rows even or until slipper measures 6 (6½, 7)" from beg.

Work k1, p1 ribbing for 10 rows or 2" additional :
*k1, p1; rep from *
Rep this row.

Finishing
Cut yarn, leaving long tail. Thread through sts on needle and pull tightly. Fold in half. Sew toe closed and top seam. Sew back seam.

Weave in ends on WS.
