CO 11 sts.

Row 1: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k6, yo, k2 (12 sts)
Row 2 and all even rows: Sl1, p across to last st, k1
Row 3: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k6, yo, k1, yo, k2tog (13 sts)
Row 5: Sl1, k2tog, yo, slip 3 sts to cable holder, hold in front of work, k3 sts, k3 sts from holder, (yo, k1) twice, k2tog (14 sts)
Row 7: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k6, yo, k1, (k2tog) twice (13 sts)
Row 9: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k6, yo, (k2tog) twice (12 sts)
Row 11: Sl1, k2tog, yo, make cable twist over next 6 sts as in Row 5, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso (11 sts)
Row 12: Repeat row 2.

Repeat rows 1-12.
