Diamond

CO 6 sts to begin. The edging is worked lengthwise. The number of sts changes throughout.

Row 1: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2 (7 sts counting each yo as 1 st)
Row 2 and all even rows: Sl1, k1, p across to last 2 sts, k2
Row 3: Sl1, k2tog, (yo, k2) twice (8 sts)
Row 5: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, k2 (9 sts)
Row 7: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k4, yo, k2 (10 sts)
Row 9: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k5, yo, k2 (11 sts)
Row 11: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k3, K2 tog, yo, k2tog, k1 (10 sts)
Row 13: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k2, k2tog, yo k2tog, k1 (9 sts)
Row 15: Sl1, k2tog, yo, k1, k2tog, yo k2tog, k1 (8 sts)
Row 17: Sl1, (k 2 tog, yo) twice; k2tog, k1 (7 sts)
Row 19: Sl1, k2tog, yo, Sl1, k1, psso, yo, k2 (7 sts)
Row 20: Repeat Row 2

Repeat Rows 3-20 to desired length.
