Even in beautiful Orvieto which is situated on the flat summit of a large chuck of volcanic rock in exquisite Umbria in North Italy, you can find some very nice
yarn! Confusingly signed as the Paul and Sharkmen's shop (?!) out on the street, once inside, you will see that they carry a HUGE selection of wool, cotton and other kinds of yarn in every imaginable colour! They have lots of other stuff for sale, none of it very interesting, though. After you have visited the beautiful cathedral and had enough glasses of the amazing Orvieto wine, pass by and pick up some yarn! 6/07

This is a lovely little yarn shop in the old part of Siena on a quiet street. When I visited, there was a lively conversation going on between the owners and a
customer... they even tried to get me to join in! Great selection for a small shop, worth a look when you are visiting this incredible city in Tuscany! 6/07
